What made you decide to serve as a tutor for the Multicultural Business Scholars Program (MBSP)?

I utilized the tutoring program when I was a freshman struggling with classes such as Accounting 200 and calculus. My tutor helped me develop study strategies, note-taking techniques, encouraged me to utilize office hours, and overall helped improve my grades in the courses.

My positive and beneficial experience using the MBSP tutoring service encouraged me to give back to the program and become a tutor. I want to help others achieve academic success like the way other tutors have helped me along the way in the business school.

What has been your favorite aspect of the Multicultural Business Scholars Program?

Career advising and tutoring, along with meeting new people.

What is your favorite memory from MBSP?

Networking with employers and meeting new friends from various backgrounds.

What is a piece of advice that you would give to incoming students?

Be sure to apply for the Multicultural Business Scholars Program because it really does give you the tools to be successful in school and in your professional life as well as helping you financially along the way with scholarship funding!
