MBSP Senior Farewell: Breanna Bell
Senior Breanna Bell shares memories from her time as a KU Multicultural Business Scholar
Breanna Bell
Major: Management and leadership
Minor: Entrepreneurship
As a Jayhawk, I became part of the KUlinary Club where I served as the co-president. The KUlinary Club is a group of students that meet every week to make magic happen in the kitchen and eat all types of delicious food. It was amazing connecting with so many people across campus and seeing how we all had a love for cooking. The president and I both had previous education and certifications in culinary arts, so it was fun combining our skills and teaching others.
It’s always been a goal of mine to get a business degree and become a licensed cosmetologist. Throughout my journey, I encountered a lot of hurdles and doubts, but Charlotte Tritch has always been there cheering me on. She is a wonderful teacher and has taught me so much about entrepreneurship. Anyone who knows her would agree that she is one of the most kind-hearted individuals you will ever meet. I would like to give a special thanks to Charlotte to help me achieve that goal of mine.
I will miss KU staff and students the most. Throughout my four years, I met so many incredible people that impacted my life in such positive ways. They encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone, reach for the stars and conquer anything that comes my way. I created lifelong friendships and networked with very influential people who have sculpted me into the individual I am today. I will miss the university immensely, but I am grateful for the opportunity to set an example for the next generation and continue to give back.
