My favorite KU tradition is going to Allen Fieldhouse for each home game and participating in all chants and excitement. I am a huge basketball fan, and it was awesome to see the team win the Big 12 Championship . Going to KU, I was the most excited about being a part of a winning basketball team!

Academically, I would like to thank professor Joe Walden the most. He is a great teacher with a lot of life and work experience. I had the chance study abroad in Panama with him, where I made amazing life memories and learned so much. Some advice I would like to share with incoming first-year students is to try everything. College goes by quicker than high school, and this is the time to find who you are. Make new friends and be open to different life experiences. Also, make the best out of each situation and do not give up.
