New minor allows students to prepare for leadership in their field
The School of Business has announced a new minor in management and leadership. The school will begin offering the minor during the fall 2020 semester.
This minor, along with seven others introduced in the fall of 2019, will allow students to complement their primary major and diversify their qualifications.
“While some students will not start their careers in management, it is a goal of many students to achieve those types of positions later in their careers,” said Cynthia Steutermann, Management and Entrepreneurship assistant area director. “The minor will prepare students to take on those responsibilities while also developing expertise within the career defined by their major.”
The management and leadership minor will provide students with skills that are highly coveted by employers and better prepare them for the modern workplace.
Other minors recently introduced by the school include:
- Business Analytics
- Entrepreneurship
- Human Resource Management
- Information Systems
- International Business
- Marketing
- Supply Chain Management
