I was fortunate to be able to participate in a study abroad program in Buenos Aires, Argentina, during the summer of 2018. I completed nine hours of Spanish minor credit in just 6 weeks. The only unfortunate part about it was the fact that I couldn’t stay longer!

I had such a blast and was constantly learning. I gained experience organizing student-led trips, navigating a massive city every day, and even received training from professional Argentine soccer coaches. Growing up in a Honduran household, I’ve always been around Honduran language and culture. It has been fascinating to notice the linguistic and cultural differences between two Latin American countries like Honduras and Argentina.

MBSP made a substantial contribution to my experience, and I couldn’t be more thankful. The contribution was not only financial — our director directed me towards other resources in the school where I found even more scholarships, and he also connected me with a fellow MBSP member going on the same program. I 10/10 recommend my experience, and thank MBSP for its support.
